  IMAGING & DETECTION TECHNOLOGY
The 360V Series F9999 is extremely effective at identifying all forms of contraband, specifically hard to identify explosive compounds like bag less bombs and liquid explosive materials. Extremely fine wire is highly visible do the high resolution 3D real-time inspection capabilities of the fluoroscopic system. The system has an estimate 97+% probability of detection with a minimal false alarm rate of less than 3%. Processing time is averaged at 7 to 10 seconds per item giving a throughput rate of 360 to 520 items per hour with the high speed conveyor belt system installed.

The 360V Series F9999 features full rotation, high definition X-ray penetration, real-time and 3D viewing. While designed for ease of operation and simplicity, the 360V Series F9999 is an excellent screening tool for large packages and oversized items for use in such areas as facility entranceways, mailrooms, Airport check baggage and Cargo loading docks.

Fluoroscopic X-ray technology utilizes an X-ray emitting source specifically designed to produce superior quality penetration and extreme high-resolution viewing images. The generated beam of X-ray light is focused on a heavy leaded glass plate. This glass plate or viewing area has a specially prepared compound, bonded to the glass plate, which glows or “fluoresces” when the X-ray light makes contact with the glass plate. When an object, such as a suitcase or other suspect package is placed between the X-ray source and the glass screen, the contents of the specific package are revealed as clearly visible shadowed items. Since some materials retard the X-ray light beams more completely than others, variations in density of the images are produced corresponding to the specific density of different materials. Unlike other existing screening systems, the images produced are not “color coded”, altered in any way by the digitization process nor left to the interpretation skills of a specific operator, instead a clear and highly visible image is viewed as it is projected by the fluoroscopic X-ray beam—you see what’s exactly in the specific package, nothing is left to operator interpretation. The operator easily recognizes objects as the magnified projected image moves across the glass screen. The operator can easily inspect a specific area of interest by rotating the package being screened, slow the rate of rotation or even reverse the direction of rotation. The result is a thorough inspection without the necessity of opening potentially dangerous suspect packages.

  HEALTH AND SAFETY
System complies with applicable international health and safety regulations including:

  • USA FDA for cabinet X-ray Systems (Federal Standard 2. 1-CFR 1020.40)
  • Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 - Section 6, amended by the Consumer Protection Act 1987
System includes the following safety features:
  • External radiation leakage of less 0.1mR/Hr (1Sv/hr) as measured in contact with outer panels.
  • Radiation leakage measurements are performed with a scatter block device in path of the x-ray beam to identify the worst-case radiation leakage.
  • External Stop buttons are with in easy reach of the operator and all users
  • Power-ON and X-ray ON indicator lights are located at both ends of the X-ray inspection tunnel and on the operator control panel.
  • Interlock switches are located on critical access panels. The interlock switches disables conveyor belt operation and x-ray generation in the event of a critical panel is opened or removed.
  • System is FDA and FCC marked.
